Myenergi Zappi EV Charger

The Zappi EV Charger by Myenergi is a home charger built to put clean energy in the driver’s seat.

Unlike ordinary chargers, Zappi gives you complete control over where your energy comes from. Therefore, you can choose between solar, grid, or both. 

It also supports both 7 kW (single-phase) and 22 kW (three-phase) and can be purchased in tethered (6.5m cable) or untethered (universal Type 2 socket) variants. 

Plus, thanks to its ECO, ECO+, and FAST modes, Zappi can adjust its energy draw in real time to cut costs, reduce emissions, and speed charging time.

Hardware

Zappi has been perfectly designed for UK homes and weather. Equipped with a IP65-rated and IK10 casing, it’s extremely durable in both indoor or outdoor environments. 

The device itself is only 438 x 282 x 122 mm. It also supports both rear and bottom cable entry, whichever works best for your setup. 

All models are smart grid-compliant. Therefore, they include a 6mA DC residual current protection, which meets the latest UK and EU standards. They also have Type 2 connectors, and if you choose the tethered version, the cable is 6.5m long. 

On the device, there’s even a multicoloured LED display and graphical LCD interface. This grants you on-the-spot control and status without using the mobile app.

Software

When you pair Zappi with the Myenergi App, it turns this already smart EV home charger even more intelligent. 

From the app, you can: 

- Choose your charging mode (ECO, ECO+, FAST)

- Schedule charge sessions to sync with off-peak tariffs

- Remotely lock and unlock your charger for security

- Monitor solar generation, grid usage, and total EV charging stats

You can even pair it with a complete Myenergi ecosystem. For example, Eddit (hot water diverter), Libbi (battery storage), and Harvi (wireless sensor) allow Zappi to be integrated into your smart home system. 

Alongside this, using the app allows you to update Zappi remotely. It‘s also OCPP 1.6J compatible, so it can integrate into broader smart grid networks as well.
